About Us

MINDS is privileged to have received an inspiring message from the Late Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, former President of India, on the auspicious occasion of Teachers’ Day, which was published in Volume 1, Issue 4. This remains one of the most cherished milestones in the journey of the newsletter.

Today, MINDS proudly stands as the oldest and only monthly psychiatry e-newsletter dedicated to medical students and doctors in India. The editorial team comprises enthusiastic medical students from across the country working under the able guidance of experienced medical teachers and psychiatrists.

The content of MINDS is curated to meet the learning needs of a broad readership and is intentionally balanced so that:

  • Approximately one-third is relevant to all medical students.
  • Approximately one-third is useful for all doctors.
  • Approximately one-third is specifically designed for psychiatrists.
